I propose that we give a portion of it to help Striper pay for the TS server (he's been paying for it by himself for months now).

 

But I'm gonna put all on hold, until I hear back from a few people.

you guy's do know that 8/8/08 is comeing up realy fast.

and i think that we should all get togather on TS and chat for a bit and even play some online games agin...?

 

 

 

The problems with this idea are that many of the long-time Eight Ball Clan members, are getting older and getting ... (strike that) ... HAVE GOTTEN burnt out - especially playing the same one game over and over again.

 

Another problem is that there is "work" (and sometimes money, i.e. donations) involved in keeping a clan/gaming community running smoothly and popularly.  Here again, the "old timers" have already done this, and more for a very long time and, again, are well burnt to a crisp.

 

So the POSSIBLE solution is this: To look at ourselves as A MULTI-GAMING COMMUNITY called "The Eight Ball Clan."  Even though "clan" is built into our name (and it's too late to change that now), if we begin to think, and spread the word about our "change in status," I fell that the name will not be much of an impediment.

 

The logo can add additional icons of other games, etc. ... But we'll worry about that down the road.

 

The most fundamental question is: DO WE WISH TO REMAIN TOGETHER - ESPECIALLY THE LONG-TIME MEMBERS?  For me the answer is YES!  I would hate to see the day come that I cannot talk to the many friends that I have made here.  So I think we should at least attempt this transition.

 

THE BEST THING ABOUT IT IS THAT IT DOESN'T TAKE ANY ACTUAL "WORK!"  --- IT JUST TAKES A CHANGE IN THINKING AND ATTITUDE!!!  I THINK WE CAN ALL HANDLE THAT!

 

SO LET'S BE FLEXIBLE!  START TO THINK OF OURSELVES AS A GAMING COMMUNITY, AND PLAY THE GAMES WE WANT, WHEN WE WANT, AND MAINTAIN AT THE VERY LEAST A TEAMSPEAK SERVER (via donations -- about 10-20 bucks a month, as opposed to 80 bucks a month.)

 

Many members have found COD4 to be fun to play, and I will probably be joining that group soon.  There are also many other FREE games: First Person Shooters, as well as Golf, etc. That we can also play together.  (By the way, we have a great ally in a Golf Guild called "GSB."  Maybe we can form some sort of partnership with them eventually down the road.)  And we all know that Parker loves World of Warcraft.

 

Anyhow, I think that since we have been in existence for about 5 years now, it would be a shame to fold.  From the looks of the donations, it looks like we will be losing our America's Army server & the "free website" that came with it, that we never used anyhow.  But if we are going to try to stay together, we might just have to suffer this loss.

I purposely added the "Recent Visitors" section to our site to see just how often people come to this website.  And I must admit, it's not many, and it's not often.  So announcing a meeting here, may not work out so well.  SO IF YOU ARE READING THIS SPREAD THE WORD AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE ON TEAMSPEAK!

Ok so i got TWL going agin for the clan but  i only have the 2v2 tourney's untell we can get more clan mates to start showing up then we can do 4v4's and so forth.

and i thought it would be better to do the 2v2 to because of clan mates working and ect.

I have been "busy" from when I get up, to when I go to sleep, CONSTANTLY for a while now, trying to learn about and fight the NWO (New World Order).

 

The NWO is a VERY complicated subject.  I cannot explain the MANY hours worth of study that I have put into it, in only a few lines that I am posting here.

 

Let me say that whatever your opinion or knowledge may be about the NWO, it is my opinion that this is very serious business and is growing more severe all the time.

 

I wish I could give you reasons why I see things this way, but it would be a "book length" post.

 

I HIGHLY suggest that you begin to fervently research this kind of material as fast as you can, because many things are pointing in the direction of things becoming "out of hand" in many ways.  (Sorry for being so vague, but there is just too much to explain about it to get into here.)

 

I can only recommend that you begin your research by exploring some of the Alex Jones sites and material, etc.

 

One of the easiest ways to research about this, is to go to Google video, and do a search and watch some documentaries about this kind of stuff.  THERE ARE TONS of them.

 

Here is just one for starters:  (In this video they make several - most of the first 1/3 of this video speaks about "religious" topics, that is NOT the part that I am trying to point out to you here, it is the "history" of the NWO, etc. that I am trying to show you with this video, so please feel free to "pick and choose" the religious parts, or discard them as you see fit).. but watch the whole thing because interlaced with the religious stuff in the first 1/3 of this video, is also some good NWO info. -- The other 2/3 of this video is much more about the NWO and how it works.)

 

This video is EXTREMELY LONG .. about 5 hours... so get the popcorn out when you have some time set aside and give 'er a go.

Many of these videos will just give you "background" information, and not so much of the "current events" information, that is becoming more and more ominous each day.  But without the background, you probably wouldn't be able to understand the seriousness of the "current events" material.

 

Take it from me, things are getting serious.  And if you don't want to believe me than: GOOD CALL! -- It's always best to do your own research.
